The only hotel on the shores of Rutland Water,

Welcome to Normanton Park
A lakeside retreat steeped in history
In 1829, the Heathcote family built a manor on the southern shore of what would one day become Europe's largest reservoir. Nearly two centuries later, Normanton Park Hotel still stands in that same spot - the only hotel on the water's edge, beside the world-famous Normanton Church.
The lake hasn't changed much. Neither has the feeling of arriving here - that particular kind of quiet that settles over you when you're somewhere genuinely beautiful, and you realise there's nowhere else you need to be.
Whether you're here for a long lazy weekend, a celebratory dinner, or the beginning of a new chapter as husband and wife, Normanton Park is the kind of place that stays with you long after you've left.
